Yajaira is one of the most important Chilean independent bands that appeared during the 90’s. Their members were part of other essential underground scenes from that period (like Panico) and some of them came from the metal scene (Necrosis, Pentagram) which developed during the mid 80’s in the middle of the Pinochet military dictatorship.
Generating a sound that mixes bands like Black Sabbath, Kyuss, and The Rolling Stones (in their narcotic period), Yajaira created a huge reputation in a short period of time. More info here COR07
